Fantasy F1 League

Welcome to 2012

January 31st, 2012

We are back. Things were looking ropey for a while but we I think we are now ready to go. Of course if you find something up with the site then please let us know through the contact page so we can get it fixed.

A quick run down on whats new:

  • A new look, if you didnt notice then I am going to cry!
  • New points – Lower scores and more evenly spread to try and make it a bit more of a challenge.
  • A lower budget – Last year it all seemed a bit easy so we made it HARD!
  • New Bonus points – Predict the top ten finishers of every race with a fancy pants drag and drop selection.
  • A proper news feed so you can catch up on all the news while your here.

If you would like more info on anything then post in the comments, use our contact form or get us on twitter @FantasyF1League

Looking forward to another great year.

Closing for maintenance

November 30th, 2011

We will soon be closing the site off to get ready for next year.

Once we do this then all the info will be gone, even to us.

If you would like to record any info then grab it quick. We will be going offline on the 14th of December until we are ready for sign ups next year.

Have your say

November 27th, 2011

We have started a new poll about what format the game should follow next year.

Please get your vote in so we can ensure a great game for everyone next year.

Of course if you have a different idea for how you’d like the game to be played then please put it in the comments below as we can look at other options.

As always, thank you all for playing and making it a great year for us again.

Singapore Update

September 29th, 2011

We have reposted the Singapore results as I input the wrong answer for the poll.

Apologies for messing about!

Dont forget that the poll question will be changed early for Japan. I am planning on doing this Friday evening UK time. As I will be getting hitched the following morning.

Important Info

September 11th, 2011

Italy results are up so take a look at how you have done.

I am getting married on the 8th of October so poll questions and result postings are likely to be a little erratic especially for Japan on the 9th!

We will do our best to keep the game running as smoothly as possible.

Hungary Result and Catch Up!

August 8th, 2011

To catch up first!

Germany

Mentions are:

Top Scorer is R.Slicker and top twitterer is @NinjaCyborg

Hungary

Top scorer this time out is The Pits.

Top Twitterer is @UKMartynJones

A proper interesting race with drama going on all through the field all through the race. Lets hope that the upcoming regulation changes do not effect the amazing races we have come to expect this year.

Mini Leagues

As has become tradition in the summer break its time to tally up the mini leagues and mention those who have a lot of activity sooo….

1st: The Worst League with 82 Entrants!

2nd: Bit-Tech with 30 Entrants

3rd: Xtreme Falkirk with 21 Entrants

A big thank you for all the entrants to those leagues and of course a big thank you to all of you who have set up mini leagues and dragged your mates along to play. Without you all doing this there would be a great deal fewer of us playing.

Enjoy the summer break and we will see you in Spa.

AC Ultimo Racing takes top scorer this race.

See you all in Germany.

European Results Up

June 26th, 2011

Despite the battles around the midfield, and the use of the double DRS zone, that was a race that reminded of the processional style of last year.

Still, all drivers finished so a lot of points available from todays race.

Top twitterer this round is @jmullins673 with an impressive 7th overall this round and sitting just outside the points positions overall.

Dont forget the bonus question as those points make a huge difference.

Canada Results Posted

June 13th, 2011

The results for the Canadian GP are up.

Team Stupid move to the top of the leader board after that crazy up and down race.

Top twitterer this time out is @bobtil with 3165 points.

Top scorer for Canada is SJB Racing with 3499 points.

After all that excitement we now have two weeks to catch our breath and then back to Europe.
